I think that all of our Challenger level players are playing great tennis. Mackin, Bloomfield, Marray and Baker have had good starts to the year, and Goodall had an incredible rise up the rankings in the second half of 2006. I believe that there'll be great competition between them this year. Who do yo...
Just wondered how well everyone thought Serena will do in the coming fortnight
Impressive win today though she didn't have to do particularly much, her serving was of a high standard and she hit some great backhands.
Next up for Serena is Anne Kremer (who surprisingly beat Michaella Kraijc...
The LTA are thought to be currently doing a deal with Kim Cljisters to get her to coach the British girls for 10 weeks a year once she's retired. Just a rumour at this stage but if it's true it sounds like great news !

Found out some stories today, both concerning Emily Webley-Smith: According to Emily, her most embarassing moment on the tour was once in a tournament when she finished the 5min warm-up before her match and then took her tracksuit bottoms off forgetting that she hadn't got her skirt on unde...
So another incredible performance from Federer, dispatching Roddick 6-4, 6-0, 6-2. After their previous 3 matches in the USO final, Masters cup and Kooyong I thought it would be really close, maybe even a 5 set classic especially given how Roddick won in Kooyong on exactly the same surface. Howeve...
The first British player to reach the finals of a Junior Slam since Andy Murray.
They play eighth seeds Rupesh Roy of India and Stephen Donald of Australia.
Third up on Margaret Court Arena with play starting at 3 p.m.
Anyone know of streams?

With the pick'em predictions competitions we've done for the slams being so popular, I wondered what people thought about maybe doing them for the masters series events aswell like Indian Wells, Miami, Monte Carlo etc as it does add extra interest in the tournament after all the Brits ha...

Well its looking like The Fed has another chance to win 4 slams back to back, as at the moment u cant see past him for the AO title, but i was wondering if he won all 4 in a year, or 4 in a sequence, would he be happy if raffa missed the FO when he won it? i think a lot would be taken away from his achivment, same as wi...
This is the first time since Andy won the USO that a British player has progressed into the semis of a Slam, so I thought that we should have a topic. Dyce has a golden chance of reaching the finals of a Slam. He is a good doubles player in any case and it seems like Heliovaara complements his game a bit too wel...
Now that they've all played 2 games, I was surprised not to see Andy on the leader board for points won receiving (either 1st or 2nd serve). Then I had a look at match stats, and he's won 44 pts when receiving 1st serve , and 46 pts receiving 2nd serve, which should put him right up near the top of the list.

Nominees: Alex Bogdanovic: 2006 was "Boggo's" best season to date. He began in stunning form, winning the Wrexham and Bergamo challengers back-to-back. Bergamo was his first overseas title and along the way he beat world no 56 Andreas Seppi. Throughout the season Alex made 9 quarter-fina...
Nominees: Mel South: Mel began 2006 ranked in the 400s and ended the year at 167. Undoubtedly, the highlight of her season came at Wimbledon when she played the match of her life to upset world no 14 Francesca Sciavone in 3 sets in round 1 before going out to American Shenay Perry in straight sets...
