Not sure how much credence to give the Sunrise site, but it looks as though Boggo & Obradovic beat Allegro & Gicquel (4) 6-3 3-6 [10-7], while Hutch & Thomas lost to Guccione & Haase 4 & 4!
Well that would be surprising to say the least - didn't expect either result
Always good to see Boggo get some doubles points, but Hutch needs them more
I can't help but wonder if the constant changing of partners at this level has something to do with how poorly some players appear to perform. I'm sure Hutch would be more successful if he could find himself a regular partner, where they could develop an understanding of each others play and establish continuity and rhythm in their game.
Boggo and Vlad lost to Vliegen and Wessels 6-7(2) 6-1 [6-10], A bit of a topsy-turvy match and close, pity the Brit/Srb combo couldn't go the whole way.
