Sigh. I don't think there are many easy draws in Masters Series, but there are one or two - and Andy never seems to get them. I bet he would rather have Nadal's draw (at the start, anyway)
Hmm, I can't really agree with that, I don't think he could have hoped for a much better draw - in the Undertaker's quarter, and so on.
It looks much like his AO draw to me - we just have to hope that Ancic doesn't 'do a Tsonga' on him!
I probably agree that when you look further on in the draw it looks pretty good, its just that I dont think he could have got a harder draw than ancic after seeing him playing last week.
To be honest I'd be more worried about Simon than Ancic, as strange as it sounds.
Ancic's game matches up pretty well with Murray's and will allow him to sit back and play counter-punch tennis. And last week Ancic didn't exactly play brilliant tennis - he should have beaten Ferrero in the end, but throughout the match he was outplayed by him and only got close to winning because Ferrero couldn't keep the ball in play (and it was only a 20 minute spell at the start of the 3rd set where he played well against Gonzo - Gonzo was the better player for the rest of the match)
Simon though will just get the ball and frustrate Andy to death, but will force him to be aggressive if he wants to win the match easily
He should win, Monaco, Volandri, Qualifier is a perfect section so I'd expect 4th round at least here
Shameless cross-forum (same board still) advertising here, but please check out the thread at: http://www.activeboard.com/forum.spark?forumID=61841&p=3&topicID=16162672 all about the Miami pickem contest we're running. Madeline, Stircrazy, DJ and anyone else who hasn't yet tried their hand, how about it? I'm about as rubbish as they come so don't worry about not being any good at it! The main focus of the BT.net team is to try to will the Count to beat Sheddie, I've a good feeling about this one...
