well as he is already on the list i guess they will phone him up and see if he can make it in time if he gets in, if not then they phone the next one and so on as its such short notice.

(5th on Court 4, probably after 23.00 GMT - winner to play (q19) Alun Jones (AUS) WR 130 or (WC) Ryan Sweeting (USA) WR 268)
My first thought was that Jamie may have got his WC through some Brad influence or for his Texas heroics, but it looks like one of the qWCs pulled out and Jamie was hanging around just in case.
Serra hasn't played a Brit since he beat Dan Kiernan 1 & 2 in 2004. He has lost 6 of his last 7 matches since (and including) a 0, 2 & 2 thrashing by Rafa in R2 of the AO.
QR1: Alex Bogdanovic WR 180 v (q32) Kei Nishikori (JPN) WR 126
(2nd on Court 6, probably around 18.30 GMT - winner to play (q8) Nicolas Lapentti (ECU) WR 99 or Frederic Niemeyer (CAN) WR 182)
Nishikori made a name for himself this year by qualifying for Delray Beach ATP then winning it. He retired from his last match, against Bobby Reynolds in Memphis qualifying. He has only ever played two Brits - he beat Naomi Cavaday's brother Nick 2 & 2 in a US Future in 2006 and thrashed Aucks 0 & 2 in LA qualifying last summer.
