That should ensure that Edward is in the top 500 by the end of Miami - he's got one point to drop during that fortnight too, but 53 points should once again be enough by then.
Otherwise all as expected, a pity Sean didn't come out on the right side of his 3-setter having beaten Grambow before.
The results so far set up the following L16 matches:
L16: (1) Richard Bloomfield WR 352 v Bains or Lucassen L16: (4) Edward Seator WR 502 v Ralph Grambow (GER) WR 807 L16: (2) Josh Goodall WR 343 v Pierre Metenier (FRA) WR 694

Strangely enough, the BBC has now removed the results from its website, and has gone back to telling us about Frederik Johnsen's win over Sean Thornley in the British tour last week.
So these Futures results are now EXCLUSIVE to britishtennis.net - the greatest sports site in the world.

Thats not unusual with BBC "first you see it - now you dont" It's been like that for months, goodness knows why!

It happens to be "now you don't" at the moment! In fact, that's all I've seen all day! For the sake of completeness, i.e. the sanity of those of us who maintain updated draw sheets , what of the Ball/Norby match?
Oops, I thought I'd sent this before I went to take a call half an hour ago. Hopefully it's not too much overkill to post it anyway - just the Brits, but with comparative rankings shown.
L32 Q1: (1) Richard Bloomfield WR 352 beat Rudy Coco (FRA) WR 615 by 3 & 3 L32 Q1: (LL) Maniel Bains WR 1059 lost to (Q) Peter Lucassen (NED) WR 898 by 2 & 5 L32 Q1: Ken Skupski WR 669 beat (WC) Daniel Evans WR 1274 by 4 & 4 L32 Q1: (5) Miles Kasiri WR 519 beat (Q) Neil Bamford WR 828 by 4 & 4 L32 Q2: (Q) Ian Flanagan WR 867 beat (Q) Adrien Bossel (SUI) WR 911 by 3-6 6-3 6-1 L32 Q2: (WC) Tim Hewitt WR 1021 lost to Luca Vanni (ITA) WR 722 by 5 & 2 L32 Q3: (WC) Andrew Fitzpatrick WR 1408 lost to (6) Gregoire Burquier (FRA) WR 576 by 4 & 1 L32 Q3: (WC) Sean Thornley WR 1233 lost to Ralph Grambow (GER) WR 807 by 6-2 3-6 6-3 L32 Q3: (4) Edward Seator WR 502 beat (Q) Burnham Arlidge UNR by 3 & 5 L32 Q4: (2) Josh Goodall WR 343 beat Chris Eaton WR 651 by 2 & 2
So every match involving a Brit went with rankings - that's quite unusual!
L16 Q1: (1) Richard Bloomfield WR 352 v (Q) Peter Lucassen (NED) WR 898 L16 Q1: (5) Miles Kasiri WR 519 v Ken Skupski WR 669 L16 Q2: (Q) Ian Flanagan WR 867 v (3) Carsten Ball (AUS) WR 359 L16 Q3: (4) Edward Seator WR 502 v Ralph Grambow (GER) WR 807 L16 Q4: (2) Josh Goodall WR 343 v Pierre Metenier (FRA) WR 694

Totally expected day then in the end, but a little disappointed that none of the Brits could overcome higher ranked opponents in their matches.
Would expect 4 Brits in the QFs tomorrow as Bloomers, Goodall and Seator should win, while Skupski/Kasiri will win. Don't expect Flan the man to win but with him you simply never know what mood he is going to show up in
Definitely not overkill steven, I appreciate the comparative rankings you put on the results. Not sure why you're so upset about Bossel losing though lol.
