The great BJK wants to change the scoring system in tennis.(IMHO probably the best thing about the sport as it's so unique.) Instead of 15, 30, 40 she wants 1,2 3 (Boring). Oh and all players should wear numbers on their back so we know who they are Of all the issues tennis has, this is the least of them. ...

I often see people refer to "The LTA" as an organisation and want to know actually who it is at the LTA responsible for certain decisions. When board members post things like "The LTA scrapped most of the futures events" or "The LTA scrapped the bonus scheme" etc it must be a decision from either the Chie...

Sad to hear of the passing at just 59 years old of Peter Lundgren. Former coach of Federer, worked at the LTA for a good while and did a great job before being let go. King's Cup Tennis - can anyone help?

I wondered if anyone could help. I love reading on the history of tennis. When I was younger (I was born in 1965), around that time and through to the 80's , there was an annual tennis tournament called the King's Cup. Given by King Gustav of Sweden in the post war years, it was an indoor event for national t...
