Yeah these comments re Surbiton is what I was hearing as well. If the event goes it will be hard to keep the grass as the members will want to make use of the space and members will vote as to what favours them. I got the feeling that once its gone that will probably be that.

Any thoughts as to who is likely to get WCs for Queens qualies? Would love to see some Brits in qualifying and there don't seem  to be any GB players atm.

Rumour has it that Purley are considering losing a couple of grass courts to make way for Padel. Seems to be a theme
