Extra financial help was announced at the US Open for young players
"The ATP is proud to announce the launch of the Next Gen Expense Support Programme, aimed at financially supporting the future stars of tennis as they compete on the ATP Challenger Tour.
Players ranked between 101 and 500 in the PIF ATP Rankings, or those who are part of the Next Gen Accelerator, will receive $1,000 for each ATP Challenger Tour main-draw singles or qualifying event they participate in, with a maximum of $12,000 available per player over 12 events. Payments will be disbursed quarterly, ensuring consistent support throughout the season."
So I take it that, IF they crack the top 500, the following players get $1k every time they enter a challenger
Oli Tarvet
Jack Pinnington-Jones
Jo Monday
Toby Samuel
Jake Fearnley also counts as he's on the accelerator programme and obviously is already top-500 - BUT he won't get it if he enters the top-100, which seems very likely
Also, this will apply to Henry Searle and any other teenage GB player who's not on the accelerator programme (as long as they're top-500)
