Sadly the oldest living former Wimbledon singles champion Vic Seixas passed away on 5th July. He was 100 having been born  on 30th August 1923. He won the Wimbledon singles title in 1953 and the US championship in 1954. He also won 5 doubles and 8 mixed doubles  titles  at the Grand Slams. He was a member of the  1954 American    winning  Davis Cup  team.
