Looking for podcast co-hosts

Hello everyone.

For those of you that may not remember, my name is Mark, and over the years Ive attempted to get involved in British tennis in a few different ways. In 2016, I launched a website, Britennis, which aimed to cover the ups and downs of British tennis players across the world and across all types of competition (even all the way down to Tennis Europe), and it did well for a few months until real life got in the way and I had to say goodbye to it.

More recently, Ive written pieces for a northern based online newspaper (The Yorkshire Times and its subsidiaries) doing a weekly round-up of events, as well as covering the Ilkley Trophy, my local event. Im at the Ilkley Trophy this week doing a mixture of entertainment, hosting, and press, and it has been a fantastic week and further inspired me to get more involved in tennis on a more regular basis.

My latest idea is something along the lines of The British Tennis Podcast, which would focus solely on British tennis players and their fates across the world on a weekly or monthly basis. This would range from discussing Jack Drapers amazing win against Alcaraz at Queens this week, to discussing the latest up and coming talent such as Hannah Klugman and Mark Ceban. I find these kind of projects work best with two or three co-hosts, mainly for diversity of opinions and accountability, and I thought this was one of the best places to ask.

Ideally co-hosts would have some recording equipment and a quiet place to record somewhere in their home, and also have a wealth of knowledge and analysis of British tennis players.

If anyone would be keen to get involved, feel free to private message me, or catch me on my business email, markyouroccasion@gmail.com

Id also welcome any constructive criticism and any opinions that its a terrible idea! Edit: and for some reason every time I post from my phone, it removes all the apostrophes, so please excuse my apparently terrible grammar!

IMHO they spend far too long on non tennis (playing) issues. Every episode they bemoan how badly women are treated, particularly around scheduling.
Fine to bring it up occassionally but its all the time now.
Also all 3 of them agree about everything which does not lead to great debate.
And I find it pretty hypocritical to bemoan how terrible it is that the hospitality crowd are never in their seats to watch any tennis - yet their main sponsor (that enables them to live the life of luxury attending all 4 slams every year for free), charges extortionate hospitality prices for well heeled folks (that probably will not be in their seats watching any tennis).

The Tennis Podcast is a dreadful listen now. As seagull says, they all have their extra terrestrial hobby horses ( of which equality is a major theme), but also that it seems more to be focussed on the quality of questions raised by them and media colleagues at various press conferences or interviews than the actual tennis. And tennis-wise, they only appear to have any knowledge of the top 20-30 and no knowledge of anything else (Matt aside - and they seem proud of it). Catherine especially is an extremely difficult listen and nowhere near as funny as she thinks she is.

That said, your podcast sounds a great idea and of interest to a good many on the forum. I would be more than interested in subscribing if you can get it going.
