He's one lucky guy. He only got into the quals for Paris as a late replacement for Mahut. Won one game. Lost in the final qual round, but now finds himself thru to the second round of the main draw as an LL replacement for Fed (with a first round bye of course).

The Englishman was forced to turn down the offer of a wild card from tournament director Cedric Pioline last Friday.
It was a shame I had to say no, Henman continued. I would have loved to have gone back to Paris where I won the event in 2003 but the knee was too sore at that stage to say yes.

London has been backed to host the ATP's season-ending Masters Cup by its chairman Etienne De Villiers.
