Points Breakdown

Can anyone point me to a site that has a breakdown of the British Ladies points for 2007 (best 17 scores)?

WTA site does not seem to have the same breakdown as ATP site

I can't.

I've always had to work the damn things out by hand-made even less easy by the WTA points recorded in the results section of their website frequently being just wrong (tends to ignore qualification points).

Anyone ever sourced this?

I had a site bookmarked, but it's now gone.

The only site I have found where this information is carried (in a fashion) is http://home17.inet.tele.dk/wta/ which may well be the one Rob is referring to. It unfortunately stopped updating in March.

The format used on this site was (taking Anne as an example):

May 06
Jun 06 Roland G. 2, Surbiton+Birmingham 12.5, Eastbourne 1
Jul 06 Wimbledon 2, Cincinnati 1, Lexington 8.5
Aug 06 Washington 7, Bronx 5
Sep 06 US Open 2, Kolkata 1
Oct 06 Guangzhou 1, Tashkent 1, Jersey 7, Glasgow 11.5
Nov 06 Minsk 1, Opole 11.5, Prerov 25
Dec 06
Jan 07 Auckland 1, Hobart 1, Australian O. 15
Feb 07 L.-Sutton 4, Tipton+St. Paul 28
Mar 07 Indian W. 10
Apr 07 Unknown tournament 4

I have complete records for the top players and should have a bit of spare time later on next week. If there is interest I could do perhaps the top 5 in this format for 2007 (minus the 1 pointers to save time, and bracketing the scoring tournaments not in the top 17) and ask for it to be made sticky. Would that be useful?

Anyone wanting to work out these stats for their favourite player could use the Player Activity section on the ITF website, in conjunction with the points table I added to the Rankings section some time ago.

Would be great if you could put something together so I could add to the points defences on the Entry List's

Fine, I'll get to work next week. The first point defences of the year are Anne and Katie (15 points each) in the Australian Open qualies.

Hate to rain on anyone's parade, but I think the link to the site you are on about, was changed to the following;

http://www.vlmark.szm.sk/

This may help and save you some time?!?

Thanks for the link ABC - another useful site to bookmark!

I decided to complete and post the points breakdown for the top 5 anyway, as I think that some members and guests will find it helpful to have this information in a file on site, particularly for easy comparison between players, rather than having to go off and research on other sites.

Please can one of the moderators make the 2008 Points Defences file sticky. Thanks.
