Got there in the end. Sure she won't be happy with her performance, but another chance to improve tomorrow.

 I prefer them in finals.

Doesnt really happen thoughbiggrin I would take two Brits playing in a QF any day. Opening rounds aren't so good though!

Very tight in the doubles. 8 of the first 12 games have gone to the deciding point - and now into a tie-break

Didn't Bains and Raducanu meet in a final a couple of years ago?

Yep. Just before Christmas 2019. Katie S beat Katie B in another W25 final a couple of years before that, but can't think of too many more recent ones.

Looks like Katie B. has given Beth a walk over.

Yes, it's on the draw, and the order of play.

Good news for Beth before her doubles Sf

They brought the doubles forward, and it's under way. Lissey and Lina lead.
Slow start from Jodie and Beth, and quickly 0-2* with one point on serve plus the gift of a double fault being all so far.

And now it's 0-3*, after a deciding point.

Anyone any idea if Katie B is injured or if she's withdrawn to go an sign into qualis or something somewhere else?
