Week 14 - ITF (W15) Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt Hard

Lissey's fourth week in Sharm, and the only match she's won has been against Jasmine, so no, not a lot of confidence that she will win.

Sawayanagi is hard to predict. Only played one match since October 2018 before last week, and has now won three and lost one in qualifying over two weeks.

Well, I'm living the good life and predict that Lissey will win !

In fact, why not go the whole hog - I'm with Harry - three wins !

(I first typed three wines, which might be what we end up crying into, if things all go pear-shaped.......)

You didn't mention Katie's odds. In old money, she's 1000/1 on for the win, against 25/1 for her opponent. (Bet365)

For those who follow players who are based in gb but not playing as gb, I see that andre Lukosuite, LTU, just won last 32 match, (having come through qualifying), 2 and 4, against same Ukrainian that she lost to recently, I think it was 3 and 0 last time, so a big turnaround. I have seen Andre play in a number of british tour events in last 3 or 4 years..she is a powerful player, probably also about 6ft 2in, an interesting one to see how she gets on.

Yeah, I thought that one was about right smile (Not going for a longshot on her opponent !)

Like Spireman, and my post a couple of weeks back, glad to see the win from Andre.

The deeper our pool of players in this country, the better it is for all, no matter which country they play for.

That's a shame, Lissey struggling for form in singles.

Surely Katie B must be one of the favourites this week given the absence of her nemesis Joanna Garland?

No it isn't I suppose. Good job I'm not a gambler!

Katie Boulter must have a decent chance of winning the whole thing.

As a top 100 player when she's fit playing in a 15k there's no surely about it. If she doesn't win there's something wrong.

Sarah lost the first set 4-6 cry  She had at least one chance to break back but couldn't take it.
