Bob in Spain, Steven, I don't know if one or both of you tweet Jonny (or just read his ones, like I do) but if you do, please say a big thanks !

I actually tweeted Jonny last night and asked him to act as "roving reporter" for the day, having noticed that he isn't on court today at all.  He is doing a half decent job. But see the edit to my previous post. The result is not as clear as I thought.

yes, fair point ! (And the score is inversed form what I though it was).

but I still think, on balance, toby must have won (surely !?!?!)

But good - tell Jonny great stuff - Grade A minus - room for slight improvement :)

Going back through the tweets, it may be ME that has misinterpreted.  That wouldn't be the first time.  The sequence was

Toby early break down in the 1st

Toby into a decider 6-4 6-7

So perhaps he came back to WIN the 1st set and lost the 2nd. That would make more sense for the third tweet

Great battling performance 6-4 6-7 6-4

I had initially assumed that as he was a break down in the 1st set, that he had lost that one and come back to win the 2nd.  But as the saying goes, "assumption is the mother of all you know whats".

Have I confused everybody yet ? I certainly seem to have confused myself, but that isn't difficult.

I am fearing the worst re Evan and Luke. If they had won, I think Jonny would have tweeted, but he is too respectful to his friends to want to tweet about defeats.

Hope I am wrong.

Yes, I agree - and especially as Evan was playing someone so much higher ranked (and losing) and Luke was already 1-4 down. It wasn't looking promising and the lack of tweet sort of confirms it . . .

Well done, DWH - had forgotten about that. Not a bad score from the young Welshman, not bad at all. Strange no sign of Luke's match . ..

The only sign of Luke's match is on the "Schedule" page where is still says "in progress"

So let's hope that Luke is putting up a good fight.

And great find DWH. Much appreciated.

Thanks smile. Yep was just about to post that, so hopefully that means he's battled back from his deficit but they just don't have live scores on that court.

There is a live scores feature on the page I posted earlier now. Maybe it was still setting up yesterday.

(It has In progress, Results, Schedule and Draws)

Edit: No sign of Luke's match yet, but unfortunately it confirms that Evan lost 6-2 6-4

Good find! It does also say ...

MD M R1MARTIN, Tobybt.GOLDENGOREN, Tal6-4

... though - I wonder if that was the 1st set or the 3rd LOL

The scorecard for Toby's match is even more bizarre - http://67.231.107.53/Scorecard/Scorecard.aspx?matchID=9199 - it shows Toby winning 6-4 6-7(3) 4-2 with (further down) Goldengoren winning 12 points in a row from 2-4 down in the 3rd but the game score not changing for those last 3 games.
