Normally Israeli Futures have their own livescore webpages even if it's not on ITF livescore itself, but I can't find any? Maybe someone else knows if it still exists somewhere deep on the web!

I think it may only be Futures at Ramat Hasharon that have live scores but I was going to have a proper hunt later!

I've had a good look at this new (ish) tennis centre in Akko, and it's website - and it doesn't even mention this competition.

Me too. There were some nice pictures but even their "upcoming events" list doesn't mention it.

Strange that is is not on their events. There is a page for this tournament and the next one I think if you click on the itf pro circuit logo.

No lives scores though. Just the order of play and the draws.

I wonder if Liam is still struggling with all those injuries - shoulder and ankle?

I've no idea, obviously, but I wouldn't have thought that he'd gone to Israel for three weeks and inscribed for doubles and singles if he was worried about his injuries.

Maybe Jonny just played very well ? He's got it in him . .

Jonny O'Mara ‏@Jonny_OMara 21m

Managed to sneak a 13-11 win in doubles with @TobyMartin93 from 62 51 down. Good encouraging words from @HoytEvan #painful #harsh #clutcg

Luke and Evan won 6-3 6-1 too

I'm inclined to think precisely that - Jonny probably just played better than Liam.

When Liam won his maiden Futures a few weeks back (I think it was in Sheffield) the few video highlights suggested he was playing a steady and safe game with very little power indeed. I commented at the time that it looked like he was playing in slow motion, rather like one of those films showing pro tennis from the 1960s - something that might deliver him a Futures title or two (and I think he needed a win; was realy pleased for him) but would be completely inadequate to make any real progress towards the top 250. I do hope he is playing the long game here and building his gamestyle around the attributes that most of the the top guys employ (power, aggression, positivity, killer patterns of play) just like Kyle seems to be doing.

Will be interesting if Liam tweets later.
