Hmmm, so its a landslide for Andy, for what its worth Nole is the favourite but if I could guarantee Andy was going to play his best tennis I would be quietly confident but I'm not so I basically haven't a clue.
The great news is that John Lloyd thinks Djokovic will win.
Hmmm, while I would like to celebrate now, and am getting verrrry nervous after watching today at Wimbledon. I do think it just depends what happens on the day. It's really close, both are great players and who knows who's going to have a slightly worse night's sleep or a neighbor's car alarm going off.
and more importantly, steven now has to try and find a new twitter image.
That's what people said after the US Open win! LOL It's always been about Davis Cup (as you'll see if you read it carefully, though you'll also see it's a year out of date if you do that!) - yes, I'm never satisfied ... and I don't believe we can never win that too!
I thought Andy was brilliant today, by which I don't mean he wasn't making many errors, but he was showing such mental strength against someone who is usually so mentally strong themselves. Once he had got back level in the 2nd set, you could see in his eyes he believed he wasn't going to let Nole get back into it (even if he did, fleetingly, early in the 3rd!)
In fact, no Brit has won the Wimbledon men's singles Final against a non-Brit after losing a set - Lawrence Doherty in 1905 and Fred Perry in 1934-6 are the only other Brits to have beaten non-Brits in the Final (all the other ones with a GB winner were GB v GB) and they did it in straight sets every time too.
Anyway, I'm delighted to see all of Andy's hard work pay off once again and happy for all the other people who have helped him get there. Envious of those who were able to queue for the Hill but my parents' 50th wedding anniversary celebrations had to come first this weekend (it was actually a lot of fun, so I'll forgive them ) - little did they know all that time ago that 50 years later, the closest weekend to their anniversary would be the next time a British man won the Wimbledon singles title - of course, it had already been 27 'years of hurt' back then!

GB on a shirt, Davis Cup still gleaming, 79 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming ... 29/11/2015 that dream came true!
As I said earlier I have been critical of Andy this year but what can I say about today. Fantastic performance and the result he so richly, richly deserves.
