Roddick won in 4 sets.

Drat it all the wrong people have won, Djokovic, Ferrer (that was a short time in Radek's fan club for me!), Gasquet.  I think I may have to resign from the coven, my magic spells seem to be fading. I wonder if I forgot to renew my subscription to the Witches' Union?

I blame Aria's lustful feelings towards Novak. Obviously put a positive vibe into the pin- work

Anyway,  no- one went beyond Andy's reach last night, so he'll just have to win tonight to overtake  Gasquet & Ferrer again, and then beat Nadal, while Djokovic loses to Federer, to overtake Djoko.

So pins into Chela tonight (and no lustful thoughts, please!)

Also into Berdych, please. If he loses to Tursunov tonight, then Andy overtakes if he gets to the quarters.

We need Haas (vs Mayer) to go out this round or next, and Nalbandian (vs Grosjean) to go out tonight if Andy's to overtake by reaching the semis.

Looking behind our boy, it'd be nice to lose Hewitt's  hot breath down the back of our necks. He's playing Gonzalez.

Ok, I'll try and make sure my pins work this evening. I have no mixed loyalties anymore, everything is going to help Andy!

Plus we want Tursunov to win and I like him.

We just need Andy to help us out by winning!

Judging by this, I seem to have inadvertently turned the Count into Andy Roddick's father. Don't tell Martina!

Mea culpa   - never mind, Fed will take care of business there. I thought he had got over his DC issues with Djoko, but looking at his press conference where he was well, pretty dismissive, of Djokovic and what he had said after his match ('it's easy to say that', 'he's not beat me before', 'usually when I beat someone twice I know how to do it' etc) makes me think that he might dish out a lesson,
Hopefully Andy can help his own cause in the morning and it will be good to get a couple of the others out.

Is this AO beating any unofficial records for ties going with seeding? Aside Lubo an Bag, there aren't many surprises to date. Hopefully, this continues for one more round...

Still all going with rankings (albeit in 5 sets): Nalby wins. Andy now needs to reach the semis to overtake him.
