Mika now at one set all but Hannah has taken her first set 7-5

Mika seems to have her groove back now 4-1 up in the third

Great win for Mika, she's got quite a beautiful backhand! She was in control of most points from what I saw, several times she set the point up beautifully only to miss the next shot.

What does a r3 do for her ranking?

Good win for Mika, but I wasn't very impressed with her opponent who was very average.
The opposite can be said of Hannah's opponent who looks a great player.

Yes, as per yesterday, Mika and Ranah's opponents were real clay girls

Thankfully

Hannahs opponent is quite annoying. But Hannah is giving it back to her. She did a lovely gesture when Hannah slipped though so they are both just tough fighters.

Hannah through.

When was the last time we had 4 through to the 3rd round?

What an impressive match from Hannah - that was one tough opponent - she had some great ball skills, as well as real pace

Allami squandered the initiative several times with random unforced errors; not the usual standard from Hannah but gutsy and always kept her head up.

Yes, I thought it a bit of a messy match, but delighted Hannah got the win somehow.

Allami looks like a very decent prospect indeed but great stuff from Hannah

I'm with paulisi

Allami laid down a far better match than Charo or Perez Alarcon

She hit winners, touch shots and had some real surprise to her game, unlike the others who were pretty predictable.

Meanwhile, Isa played a poor first set - Clervie hit some good winners but, as always, a lot of wastage too, and Isa didn't manage it well
