What is particularly annoying is that Court 2 has the right match and is live

But not Court 1 which is the one we want (and has our semi-final match on it)

Liv lost 6-3 6-3 and Megan suffered her first defeat in the event (6-4 6-3 to Ofir Mansard) so Israel take the trophy and GBR runners-up medals

I managed to see a little of Megan's match - her opponent hit a lot of moon balls (and a few sneaky short crosscourts too) - Megan tried hard but got a bit frustrated - it was a shame but I still preferred her tennis to the Israeli girl

Team nominations for the Junior Billie Jean Cup in November are here  with our trio being the same as for the qualifiers (similarly for the boys in the Junior Davis Cup)

Nominated players ranked inside the junior ITF top 30 are:
