So we finish with 28 entries. I'll post some details and analysis once I have double-checked the entries.

Thanks TA, much fun as always!

Cant recall, do you post an opening league table usually ie as of today ? Dont worry if not but its a good way of telling who is most out there and is most conservative !

Ps its Peniston! No e!

Here's the starting table, with a measure of how optimistic people are compared to the current top ten total of 1435. Being optimistic or pessimistic doesn't seem to affect the points !

Overall, it looks like we are a pretty optimistic bunch.

We were also, as per usual, pretty optimistic last year. And on that occasion overall we actually underdid the top 10 rise of 399 places from 1855 at 27/12/21 to 1456 at 28/11/22.

Would be terrific if we again have a big rise this year.

For the 2022 competition :

"Here's the starting table, including a measure of your optimism relative to the current top ten total of 1855.

I do look very pessimistic here. But this will be to a large extent due to my exclusion of both Andy and Kyle from my top 10 ( I have Kyle as sub at WR 120 ). If they stay fit and compete regularly I am almost certain that both will get into the top 10 and if so no doubt very much higher than my #9 and #10 ( Alastair and Billy at WR 250 and WR 304 respectively ). But my competitive nature judged that both were such unknowns that it would be very difficult and/or sheer luck to get good scores from either of them as conpared to these that I did put in my top 10.
