Yes, delighted for Liam but gutted for Evo. I wasn't that surprised though as he hasn't really been that amazing for quite a while now. Since he had Covid perhaps?
More spamming for one of your poll threads, Jon? If that was aimed specifically at me because of what I said to Rich about the numbers of wins, I was aware of its existence, but you're wasting your time. I'm just not interested in contributing.

Not very scientifically but that's been my impression too - re Dan and his form and covid

#Wimbledon: This is the first time for 21 years that 6 British men have made it to R2 in the men's singles.
2001: Barry Cowan, Martin Lee, Tim Henman, @GregRusedski1, Arvind Parmar, @DelgadoJamie
Like others disappointed for Dan, but agree he has been struggling overall for a while.
Delighted though for the others, saw a bit of Liam at the start. Thought he started sluggishly so was glad to see him turn it around.
Watched Ali Grays third set. He played well and was pleased he managed to get that 3rd set. He could easily have lost that and got really sucked into a battle if he had not. He was so delighted to win - his reaction was lovely to see. Hopefully he can continue to do well.
Didnt see either Jack or Ryan (apart from the latter at the end of Alistairs match) but fantastic results from them and both are really going from strength to strength.
Just a quick note as I have only just returned from Wimbledon.....what a wonderful day.
I had tickets for Centre Court but obviously wanted to see Brits. I got to see all of Ryans match, was so pleased for him though his opponent did not want to be there and made sure everyone knew. I was excited when I watched Ryan take out the 2nd seed at Surbiton, I cannot believe the summer he has had I took in a bit of Kartal's match (shame) and then on to Centre to see Swiatek and a set of Nadal before back out to see Jack Draper. Only I didn't get that far. I stopped to see what Alistair Gray was all about and I got totally immersed in the match. Tall and a big serve I understood why he got the WC but there was so much more to his game than that. He hits flat and low over the net, come in to volley, plays drop shots and really mixes things up. His one handed back hand was a joy. He would use it for slice and when a few shots had been exchanged he would drive hard and low up the line one handed Federer style There was a stage at the end of the first set and the start of the 2nd when he hit his groove and I thought the umpire was going to call it off to save Tseng from further punishment. Of course that level dropped but it was still Grass court tennis as it should be played. Fantastic.
I ran round and saw a bit of Liam. A great raucous atmosphere but as it was standing room only (on tip toe at that) I left and saw Katie win quite easily, her opponent like Ryans did not look impressed at being here.
Alastair's career prize money before Wimbledon was $86,455, and now by making round 2 he's made $97,791. That's one hefty little paycheque to help him progress over the coming year. Good on him! And, great set of results for the Brits. Well done to all 6 winners, and also to Jubb for his great fight. British tennis is looking healthy right now. Pleasure to see.
