Its hard to tell from TNNS but I think Gordon pulled out of doubles and they gave a walkover. Andy L also lost doubles, 1 and 1.

So we have Alfie in mens singles semis and Lucy playing her doubles opener later - although she is playing a much higher ranked pair so dont expect much , sadly

In fact no, it was Alfie and Gordon who got walkover , ha. So they are in the doubles semis now.

Well done Alfie Hewett! Into the US Open final, the second seed will play top seeded Japanese, Kunieda. Final is on Sunday.

Alfie and Gordon also move into the doubles final, Gordon obviously recovered from whatever caused his singles default a few days ago. They play their final today against Peifer and de la Puente , a French / Spanish combo.

Alfie and Gordon take the opening set 6-4, 3-4 second. Near to a another slam title !

Alfie and Gordon lost, thats a shame, but Ben Bertram took the juniors and Ben and Dahnon Ward the junior doubles.

Now the Slam season is over, the one highlight left this season will be the Masters events taking place Oct 29-Nov 6 in Eindhoven. This is like the ATP/WTA Tour Finals. Last season it was in Orlando, Alfie won the mens singles and Alfie and Gordon took the doubles.

Most of the big events are complete this season so not sure what else will impact the qualifying list but , either way, it wont be confirmed until nearer the time.

The ITF Series 1 event in Sardinia is into the semis and we have Alfie Hewett as top seed and into that stage; he is also playing doubles there with our top boy, Ben Bartram (who won the US Open Juniors) and they are into the doubles semis.

Be a big title to win and cement Alfies's top ranked spot, plus Ben did well to reach the mens singles QF and build his senior ranking

Alfie won the big event in Sardinia to cement his WR 1 status and well done to him.

Lucy Shuker and Cornelia Oosthuisen were runners up in the womens doubles.

Mens singles- Alfie Hewett
Womens singles - Lucy Shuker
Quads singles- Andy Lapthorne

Mens doubles - Alfie, Ben Bartram and Dahnon Ward
