Overall, the top 9 remains the same, with Katie S and Emma all but guaranteeing their place in finals week (assuming Beth or Millie don't play in week 9).
If Lauryn plays and wins Week 9 she'd be on 42 and looking good to qualify
I've no idea what the cash pots are for this now but if it gives Lauryn a little bit of dosh, and a bit of confidence, to give ITFs a go, then it will have served a useful purpose.
I hope the cashpots are in line with the first series, with aprox £3,5k to the winner. (I'd go back through the threads to check, but not right now). They are pretty coy about the prize money and it's not easy to get the figures.

For a minute I thought you meant the "other" Katie S and Emma, would be very surprised to see them play Finals Week!
No, they don't get points, and I've no idea how the prize money works for alternates (Maybe Lucy will tell me !). The table I posted was from the official website for week 8, but they haven't updated the overall standings yet.

Emily Appleton, Tiffany William and Daisy Chapman all failed to complete their programme of matches. Players who have failed to do so in previous weeks have been given zero points. I wonder why the three named have retained their points?

Emily Appleton got wacked in the eye with a ball I think.
Yes, Emily managed to frame a ball into her eye - she posted it on instagram (when it was actually working). No surprise that she didn't play the next day.
Emily is of course well ahead in the league table and cant be overtaken after week 9; in fact if they give points to the Finals in the same level or at all, it is unlikely she could be beaten. Does that make her the de facto league champion or is it all about the Finals week, anyone know??
