are you sure? WTA scoreboard shows it is 5-4 Wang with the ball next to her name ie serving? or is it wrong?

Edit - it must have been wrong as it literally has just changed over to HW serving

Heather wins 6-4 7-6(6). A slightly nervy tiebreak but some great play sees her into the final.

A lot harder than it shooud have been, but 6-4 7-6(6) and into the final. And a jump to #55 on live rankings.

Great chance for Heather to win. Even though a low quality tournament to win a title would be great. When was the last time a British woman won a full WTA title?

Jo won Miami 2017, before that heather won Monterrey 2016, she clearly likes mexico.

Here's the list of her titles, it's the last tournament she's won.

How soon we forget who has won a "won a full WTA title?".

In 2017, Anna Smith's Nurnberg title (May), was after Johanna Miami title (March/April)
Both of those are older than Naomi's 2018 Monterrey title though, which remains the last full WTA title that a British woman has won, to date.

Hoping Heather can refresh the counter again here.
