Heather is certainly on a roll. Up to 63 in live rankings, with no significant points to defend until May, and indeed room for further gains from Indian Wells and Miami, where she only collected 4 points last year.

Very pleased for Hev! Im not a gambling woman normally, but I did put a couple of quid on both her and Leylah Fernandez to win this...so hoping for the right final two ;)

Must be an absolutely fantastic chance for Heather to win this competition. Her current opponent has just give away a break of serve with the worst 2nd serve I think i have ever seen in pro tennis.

heather should be very very disappointed if she doesn't win this match.

Have to say Wang looks terrible at the moment. If Heather can get the ball over the net and into play she should win with ease.

Heather needs to settle and get her serve going. Broken serve three time, but lost hers twice. *4-3

Should be an easy win ......... fingers crossed though

 I know Wang is young but frankly the standard is way below what you should expect from semi-final of a WTA tournament.

I did count over 10 in one view, but I suspect there might be as many as 40 scattered in the shady stand.

The quality of this match is getting worse, and Heather is no longer in control
