Pity for Jonny but playing the highest pair of seeds left in the tournament was always going to be tough. I think if you had told him before the tournament started that he would make the QFs, he would have been delighted.
As for Joe/Rajeev, anything is possible. They are playing so well anything is possible.
QF: (11) Rajeev Ram (USA) & Joe Salisbury CR 43 (22+21) defeated Henri Kontinen & Jan-Lennard Struff (FIN/GER) CR 82 (17+65) by 4 & 4
QF: (4) Ivan Dodig & Filip Polasek (CRO/SVK) CR 25 (13+12) defeated Marcelo Arévalo (ESA) & Jonny O'Mara CR 130 (71+59) by 3 & 2
*****
SF: (11) Rajeev Ram (USA) & Joe Salisbury CR 43 (22+21) vs Alexander Bublik & Mikhail Kukushkin (KAZ/KAZ) CR 486 (343+143)
For interest, in the Davis Cup in Madrid, Jamie and Neal played Bublik and Kukushkin in a live group match and won 1 and 4. No doubt the Kazakhs are playing well this week, but that should give Joe and Rajeev confidence to know that
I think Joe stands a decent chance of winning the semi, Dodig and Polasek will be favourites overall though. Polasek has an interesting story, he retired for 5 years and then people realised he was just too good to stay retired and he came back and boy did he come back.
His partnership with Dodig only started in the grass season last year and they made the Tour Finals, I think. Now into a slam semi. Won Kitzbuehl, Cinci Masters event and then Beijing. And Wimbledon semi.
He is up to 5th in live rankings and a win this week will take him to 3rd. But I hope, of course, that Joe is able to better him this week at least!

Joe's semi is on Margaret court arena tomorrow, assuming it's still called that by then
