That really is a good win for Jonny and Arevalo,  looking like a decent pair, last 8, yay!

Jonny is now 49 live rankings, could top his CH with another win.

Yes, great win for Jonny O.

And that's a guaranteed 111,000 Aussie $ to share between them, which is about £57,500

What a result that is.

I always felt Jonny was on the wrong side of some doubles politics shall we say. So pleased to see him (and Marcelo) having a breakthrough.

Lets not forget they lost their first match this year in a Challenger!

That's going to be tough but heh, it's a qf round.

Joe and ken both on the schedule tomorrow

Jonny O'Mara is the 10th different Brit to reach a Grand Slam QF in the last 10 years.

Also Ross Hutchins, Colin Fleming, Ken Skupski, Neal Skupski, Jonny Marray, Jamie Murray, Luke Bambridge, Dom Inglot, Joe Salisbury.

Only 2 champions from that bunch so far.

Jonny meets the JM requirement to be the next winner though!

 Excellent, ken is on next.

Apart from joe and rajeev,  only other seeded pair in qf so far is dodig and polasek. Krajicek and skugor are seeded but playing ken and gonzalez in Last 16 next. Really is wide open.

Ken and Santiago win in straight sets and play Aussie WCs Luke Saville and Max Purcell in the QFs. What a great chance to make a SF of a slam.

We have representation in three of the four QFs. Dare we dream ?
