Jan was cruising in that match - up a break in the second - under no pressure - served for the match - played a pretty horrid game - got broken - had chances to win the next game - dumped them - and then got broken again to lose the set 5-7

Pretty poor.....

Paul got broken right at the start.

Which, it's true, rather changes the dynamics of a set.

But, given the power of Monteiro, Paul was playing very well, and in there.

Lost it 4-6

I missed the first set but wondered if he got broken early on. He's certainly more than holding his own in the second set at 4-1 up.

 Yeah, and from the livestream, he looks pretty comfortable on grass too.

Generates a lot of power, and moves well
