Boys: Wimbledon 2018 - Grade A (Week 28)

Glad Jack has been able to show his capability in set 2 after struggling in set 1

I love junior tennis. This is great. Haven't even checked the score of the men's yet

Super stuff by Jack.

Really impressed with the sheer pace he generates off the ground and yes even against very good players that has to generate volleying opportunities so if he can develop that side ...

Gee, even a bit more enthusiasm coming from our commentator rather than after he played a great game to make it 4-4* little comment until "that's the first straightforward game on serve Draper's had".

C'mon Jack !

Listening on the radio sounds like Jack has the biggest weapon of both boys ie. his forehand.

It's a lovely whippy  lefty shot, as you know, gets a lot of work on the ball.

Tseng , to be honest, looks very solid but not much more - great movement and good precision

I wouldn't bother. Some of the posters in a different tennis forum are switching over to this match instead.

Good to hear Jack getting grumpy after not taking his break points.

Anton's opponent in an earlier round got thrown out for similar to what Jack did there. Different circumstances / occasions, but he's got to be careful.

Three successive breaks lead to 2-3* in favour of Tseng - some evidence of fatigue for Jack, but this is Tseng's most competitive match by far

Wassermann was facing matchpoint and had a penalty point docked for a second offence

Yes, some tired looking shots.

And his challenges don't get any better, oops !!

C'mon, time to summon all you have.

JD's 3 x 3 setters and 72 game SF beginning to take its toll in contrast Tseng has only played 90 getting to the final.

Anyone know why Roger Draper is not there???
It's very strange......

Or is he there but not with Ben and mum?
