Peter Polansky (@PPolansky) has set an Open Era record, becoming the first man to be a lucky loser three times in a row (or even three times in one year).
And he has a great sense of humour:

Liam is second on ct 1
Unusually Cam is a tba match (normally they leave two women's matches aimed at Centre/1 if they become available). Perhaps they are worried that Liam won't be competitive, in the only men's match on ct 1
I don't think Melzer and Mahut are the absentees that jump out to me - they are/were top players who are now 35, came close in qualifying, didn't quite make it, but are hardly spring chickens
For me, the interesting previous winners who are not in the main draw this year are the far more recent ones: de Bakker, Young, Kutnetzov, Saville, Quinzi, Peliwo, Rubin, Opelka...
These are all tip-top juniors, great on grass, and not even in the top 128.
Liam is 3-3 with Raonic. I don't think he can beat a fully fit Raonic, but he isn't playing a fully fit one. Just needs to keep the match going as long as possible.
