Arguably for the poll, anyone predicting a joint winner on wins is entitled to declare themselves to have predicted the joint winner in that contest since no tiebreaker was previously declared.

But if we want to separately declare a best number of wins player based on a tiebreaker OK, but whether necessary ...

Maybe an honourable draw will work all around. They can split the prizemoney!

As you can tell I have no fixed opinion on the matter, but I will (as the official organising committee representative on this forum ) determine one way or the other over a nice glass of chablis (or I might even stretch to a Voignier) on Sunday night

PS as an aside, I was working in London this week and my wife and daughter (post GCSE's) came down and stayed in London at my apartment (rented by company) on Monday. We went to a fab restaurant in Soho called Randall & Aubin - for those who know it, don't they agree it is just great; for those  who don't who love seafood or French food or both, and love a nice glass of cold white stuff, make sure you visit! Heaving on a Monday night!

Just carrying on my one person conversation in this thread - hope no one minds, it amuses me at least

GB has 42 wins this season; although we managed 54 wins last season, we got 14 of those at Wimbledon, so we had 40 at this point. With KB still to play it could be 43 this season, so 2 or 3 more at this same point. So in fact, it seems that this season so far is proving to be the best to date over the past few years at least for Brits on grass. All might change at Wimbledon but some cause for optimism at least.

I'll pick you up on that comment about Wimbledon wins, Jon. I must admit 14 wins sounds an awful lot!!!! But last year we had Andy going to a QF, Jo to a SF, Heather won 3 matches, Kyle won... I just don't think we have players who are going to go so deep this year (especially after seeing the women's draw!), but maybe I'm being unduly pessimistic, it would be great if I am!

Having seen the draws Michael I'm inclined to agree that 14 seems fanciful this year. But you never know. If Germany can go out of the world cup in the groups, anything can happen!

Had a think and decided not to have any tiebreaker scenario. Equal wins mean any position will be shared. Only fair as I'd be introducing it late.

A bit like football in the old days!

Yeah, chances are it's going to be a tie between Katie B and Harriet, that's the most likely outcome anyway, so the Wimbledon wins tiebreaker might have worked had it have been agreed before the draw was made, but not now when one is a betting favourite to win her first round match and the other is a massive outsider.

I've certainly not lost faith in Jo getting at least 3 wins so getting to 8.

I also think Jo will get 8 , as will Katie (with one win) meaning a 3 way tie on 8 wins...Could be very interesting!
