2018 British Grass Court Season - Which player will win the most Main Draw matches - a Poll!

Well, todays action over quite early on the singles front, doubles update later. But with Katy Swan losing, we are down to 3 runners plus Harriet still with a chance: still 46 wins overall on the grass.

Position Wins
1 H. Dart 8
2 K. Boulter 8 - one more win to go top - Osaka in her way though 18th seed
D. Evans 7
4 J. Konta 6 - 3 more wins to go top on her own, Cibulkova next though
5 K. Edmund 3 - needs to win the title to go top on his own,, probably a real outsider
6 K. Swan 2
C. Norrie 2
J. Ward 2
G. Taylor 2
10 A. Murray 1
J. Clarke 1
A. Ward 1
H. Watson 1
S.B. Grey 1
K. Dunne 1

And the doubles standings: Jay/Cam and Jamie of course yet to finish / play their first matches. With Ken unable to overtake Neal and Luka and Johnny out, then it looks like it is only Joe or Dom that can actually match or beat Neal

Position Wins
1 N. Skupski 11 - 2 more wins will guarantee top spot
2 K. Skupski 9 - unable to beat Neal
3 J. Salisbury 8 - Joe needs to reach the final to overtake Neal, or semi to draw equal.
L. Bambridge 8 - out
J. O'Mara 8 - out
6 D. Inglot 6 - if Dom wins Doubles title he will reach 11 wins
7 H. Watson 5
8 S. Clayton 4
H. Dart 4
K. Dunne 4
A. Smith 4
12 L. Broady 3
J. Murray 3
N. Broady 3

L. Robson 2
18 J. Konta 1
K. Boulter 1
G. Taylor 1

And here are the final singles standings following Kyle losing today: 47 wins in total, less than last year, same total as 2016.

And Katie and Harriet share the spoils in a very tight competition.

Katie was RU in Southsea, quarters in Nottingham and Surbiton and won one round at Wimbledon

Harriet was semis at Surbiton, quarters at Manchester and Ilkley and got a win at Eastbourne.
Overall it feels like a draw is the right result!

Position Wins
1 K. Boulter 8
H. Dart 8
3 D. Evans 7
4 J. Konta 6
5 K. Edmund 4
6 K. Swan 2
C. Norrie 2
J. Ward 2

10 A. Murray 1

Congratulations to Katie and Harriet, but a special thanks to the AELTC for blowing my chances of a Dan victory.
