To give him the benefit of the doubt, he may have just been bemoaning the fact of the situation, rather than complaining or resenting that he had to do that.
Having sat and watched Dan play live many times, he has no filter, on or off the court. He was doing some live TV commentary last summer(?) which equally wasn't comfortable viewing- though the like of John Lloyd and Andrew Castle have made a career of being buffoons on live TV so who am I to quote standards? I wish Dan well, as we all do.

I didn't watch the match, but I think Dan's commetns will have been more in frustration than anything else. I quite enjoy his commentary/banter, and I forgive the occasional expletive. Yesterday was a rest day for him, and on Tuesday he was on court for only 65 minutes, so I really don't think fatigue was the issue.
Dan's comments, to me, are no different to Andy or any other players behaviour on court. Andy's behaviour on court at times has been less than stellar - it's a stressful situation.
Missing my point....Andy / Dan aren't returning to the sport because they have 'mouthed off'. Neither have been penalised for that other than the odd fine / point violation. My point is that Dan is moaning about his fitness. when I did read that he 'only recently hit a ball in practice recently'. That's treading on thin ice to his sponsors, lta etc. Mouthing off under these circumstances exasperate it (is my point)
Being fit and being match fit are two different things entirely. It will come.
Indeed different, if maybe not entirely ( and his basic fitness is also questionable, having clearly not exactly been on a fitness regime during much of his time out ). But anyway the best way to get match fit is surely to play matches. And going through qualifying thus has much merit as against avoiding qualifying and suffering an early MD loss to a good player.
It is, as has been said, debatable how much Evo was truly moaning and/or if it was against anyone in particular. Maybe more Evo just being Evo. But I agree with Jiwan that he has to watch re possible perception. It doesn't really matter how we here perceive such outbursts, it might matter how others do, and what they rightly or wrongly read into them.
Thanks. I did the same but sometimes those Google times are just more like estimates, particularly if they are later in the day. It wouldnt surprise me if it was the last match tomorrow but just guessing withou seeing the OOP.
Luke & Jonny's doubles SF is first up at 11 am followed by the 4 singles quarter finals. James vs Gabashvili is 3rd up ( 2nd singles QF ) at not before 1.30 pm.
As said ...
