Interestingly, he is with a sports agency called Vigo Global. They only have two players on their books that are worth over 1.5m. The other player, Zaniola, also went on strike in January in similar circumstances. Story here:
According to the Mail, Adams didn't go to Chelsea because the scan on his injured hamstring suggests he may be out for about 4 months. Can't see Brighton wanting him under those circumstances.
1 game into the season and we can add Cooper (8 weeks) and Summerville (3 weeks) to the list
That makes 11 out injured so far.
Drameh - Firpo - Adams - Greenwood - Joseph - Bamford - Rutter - Harrison - Dallas - Cooper - Summerville
One day our luck will change.
Not expecting much from today. From the emergency ward above, Drameh and Rutter are back, but not fit enough to start however we have now lost Sinisterra and Perkins to injury and Gnonto refusing to play.
We are so threadbare right now, that we can only field 8 of the permissible 9 subs, and two of those are keepers.
Another one gone. Harrison is having a medical at Everton where he will go on a season long loan. These relegation loan clauses are killing us. The players had clauses in their contracts allowing them to go out on loan if we were relegated. And while I supported Orta for a long time, it is clear his actions have left us in an unholy & complete mess.
In the Championship, we need to generate funds from sales in order to buy so that we can comply with FFP and P&S rules. So far the following have gone out on loan for the season:
So for these players we have received the princely sum of ZERO.
We also have Gnonto (Italian International) refusing to play and Sinisterra (Colombian International) also unavailable - rumour being that he is refusing to play as well.
Add to that injuries to:
Cooper Firpo (Wants to leave) Greenwood Bamford Joseph Adams (likely to leave) Summerville Dallas
It's going to be a long season. Think you will lose your bet Seagull. Hope I'm wrong.
Forgot to mention, we did get a bit of money for Rodrigo who has gone to the Saudi League. We got 3.5m only for a current Spanish International CF courtesy of yet another relegation clause. Joel Robles and Forshaw also left the club on expiry of contracts. They were offered new ones but declined.
Villa have now hijacked the deal for Harrison who had already completed his medical at Everton but not signed.
Update: Villa might be off. They've just discovered Harrison is injured LOL. He won't be back until after the international break. Can't believe they didn't already know that before trying to hijack him.
Update on the Update: Villa is off. Harrison is heading back to Everton. You couldn't make this stuff up if you tried.
Our fans are now discussing the likelihood of League 1 next season

9 players out injured. 2 on strike. Our expected future captain left the club and signed for Bournemouth (Tyler Adams) Our average age in the starting XI younger than WBA's youngest player
And yet we only miss out on 3 points due to a huge horlicks from the ref who failed to spot this handball.
Utter madness going on with Leeds social media at the moment. Apparently we are signing a new midfielder from Germany called Amiri. It has been on/off at least twice in the last few days but fairly reliable German media (Bild) is now saying he is in Leeds today for a medical.
Enter the crazy Leeds fans. Someone has taken a picture of a guy walking down the high street claiming it is Amiri, along with his brother/agent. Problem is, the picture is taken from behind and slightly from the side.
Major discussions going on as to whether the size and shape of the ears matches other known photos of Amiri on his Instagram to determine if the picture is genuine or not. I kid you not.
