Meanwhile Harrogate star striker Luke Armstrong has made himself unavailable for selection today after other clubs have bid for him from league 1 and 2. Poor form - if he goes we will struggle to get a replacement at this stage , and we dont need to sell, hes effectively on strike. We will go down without him.
Still a month left in the transfer window. Most of the movement takes place in the last few days.

Wish you had told me that before I bet on them to win league!
Sound bet. We'll be fine. I mean any team starting the first match of the season with 8 players out injured (9 if you count Dallas) is clearly well prepared.
Drameh - Firpo - Adams - Greenwood - Joseph - Bamford - Rutter - Harrison - Dallas
Apparently we only had 16 players fit to train today - and 3 of those were goalkeepers.
One to watch for us this season as a breakout star is Archie Gray. Another play from the Gray dynasty. Only 17 but will be in the starting XI on Sunday.
Frank Gray: 18 years 106 days (1973) - Brother of Eddie
Eddie Gray: 17 years 350 days (1966) - Brother of Frank
Andy Gray: 17 years 308 days (1995) - Son of Frank
Archie Gray: 17 years 147 days (2023) - Son of Andy
Since Eddie Gray made his debut in 1966, a member of the Gray family has featured in over 25% of all league fixtures for Leeds. And they're not finished yet
Harry Gray: Watch this space - younger brother of Archie and another hot academy prospect by all accounts.

And the hits just keep on coming.
1 game into the season and we can add Cooper (8 weeks) and Summerville (3 weeks) to the list
That makes 11 out injured so far.

Id love for Town to draw Leeds when the draw is made. Preferably bring them to Wetherby Road - our fans wouldnt know who to support, most of us have Leeds as second (or first!) team!
If not Leeds, Everton, Leicester, wolves, Sheffield Utd or Wednesday or Burnley, Middlesboro - all would be lovely cup ties for Town
Needed that win last night after the 'Max Arrons' affair.
For those who don't know, we were signing him from Norwich where he played under Daniel Farke. All was agreed between clubs and personal terms. Arrons was in Leeds and undergoing a medical with the plan to announce his signing before last night's game.
Then Bournemouth called and he was off - literally.
Oh well. Joe Rodon on a season long loan looks a good addition, providing that one doesn't fall through at the last minute as well.
Terrific defensively. Great attitude. A real leader - which is why USA made him captain at such a young age. But not so strong in passing department. Breaks up play superbly but not so good at building it up. But I am sure he can improve in that area of his game.
