Call me sentimental, but John Lewis has got nothing on us.

As sure as night follows day, Leeds manage their 13th consecutive away draw in the FA Cup. Not sure I was born the last time we had a home tie. wink

For those that like odds, that's a 1 in 8192 chance.

1986 : They beat us 1-0

Mind you, there aren't many lower league teams that haven't beaten us at some stage. Slipping on banana skins in the FA Cup is a speciality of ours.

And famously the 1973 final! And was it Wigan in a Cup semi one year not too long ago, and Newport County as well! Too many to mention!!

Were you a Leeds fan, TA? Or still a Leeds fan?

my dad had season tickets through the 70s and I used to get to go along every few games if a friend of his dropped out. He also had Liverpool seasons tickets at the same time and Id get those low and then as well. We used to go to York as well, when they reached the second division. happy days - couldnt afford that now!

Colchester is my nearest team and before I got married I had a season ticket. Best couple of seasons were in the early 70's with the cup run, just missing promotion and then winning the Watney Cup away at West Brom.

When I was at Leeds University in the early 70's I went to as many Leeds home games as I could. Still follow the results.

Haven't actually been to any matches for many years.

Great stuff - the Watney Cup! Fab event. The Johnsons Paint Trophy of its time! It was a summer tournie wasnt it?

I did same as you at Newcastle in the late 80s, stood on the Gallowgate end, great times !
