Brilliant stuff!

From Katie, not me, obviously.

If any of these headlines appear, I shall hold you personally responsible AliBB!!  Hope they have good news to report though.

What a win!!!! Fantastic. After her success in the USA last spring I was expecting it to carry on straight away but looks like Katie has just been adjusting to this level and what a week.

Would be brilliant to see her lift the title now

I wish I had some of what she's got, left for work thinking she was getting hammered and flipping over to see kyle polish of his QF. Nearly choked on my extra hot skinny soya latte when I finally popped up for air at a out 3.

Amazing result the stuff of a champion, that said I can't see her taking anything for granted in the final! Not so sure I like the giving the opponent a set start approach.

Katie makes top ITF junior story again: www.itftennis.com/news/195408.aspx Other articles include www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/tennis/article-2932735/Katie-Swan-sets-sights-Australian-Open-glory-battling-past-Dalma-Galfi.html and www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/tennis/31055179 including list of former British winners

Tereza was a top TE under 14 in Maia's year (Galfi was the number one though) setting the Slovak team on its way to success over us in the World Junior finals. She has like Maia been a relatively slow burner though on the ITF circuit.

very well done to Katie for her gutsy play and getting through to the final of the Australian junior girls slam. nice commentaries too.

another tough match perhaps but playing the final on the Rod Laver Arena is such a reward.

good luck Katie..............

I don't know if this will be the case this year, but I think that last year the AO live-streamed, free of charge, the junior finals.

Edit: Hmm. Looks as if it might not be the case this year. Ah well ...

According to this...

www.westerndailypress.co.uk/set-Wow-Katie-did/story-25950587-detail/story.html

"Bristol-born former singles world number five Jo Durie will be commentating on today's match for Europsort."

it would be good if its shown live where uk viewers can watch. if not, it may be on youtube later as last year's girls and boys finals are available there now in full.

Katie struggled to stay in the rallies at the start of this set as her opponent kept katie pinned on her backhand.
Katie quickly went 5-0 down but played much better in the last game including an ace Katie 1-5*
