GB on a shirt, Davis Cup still gleaming, 79 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming ... 29/11/2015 that dream came true!
I didn't even know that you were allowed to play singles and doubles in different tournaments in the same week. You can't have both singles or both doubles can you ?
A quick scan of twitter suggests katy was in Wales this weekend for her granny's 90th. Maybe she pulled out as she's still on her way home rather than due to injury?
If it was to attract British players, that went well then, considering we have 3 Brits competing at a US err 75K, and for the Brits entered here, once Katy withdrew, they possibly just about without exception would have been better served with two or three 10Ks.
I realise they have to plan well in advance, and some more realistic 25Kers have been lost to such as injury and concentration on doubles.
But this year's GB 25K / 10K mix always did look too skewed and just as of now 25K is just about the least useful tournament for Brits.
