I've got three robots plus my own picks to do, so if anyone wants there to be a Billy the Bookie robot for this pick 'em (a suggestion someone had when I asked for new robots), please can you do his picks. (if you're going to, please post here first so that nobody duplicates your work!)

How to do it:

Use the normal entry form, and at the bottom, put
Billy (*)
as the name, pick Robot from the gender list and don't worry about the other fields down there, even if error messages say you should.

To pick the R1 matches, go to

http://odds.bestbetting.com/tennis/wimbledon/mens-matches/

change the odds to decimal by clicking the little 2.75 against odds format and then go through the R1 matches assuming Billy would pick the player with the lower odds to win.

If the odds are equal, go for the higher-ranked player (see http://stevegtennis.com/rankings/2007/s061807.htm)

For later rounds (or if any R1 matches are no shown), go to http://odds.bestbetting.com/tennis/wimbledon/men's-winner and for each match-up pick the player with the lower bookmaker odds to win - again, look at the rankings if odds are equal.

Thanks in advance! smile

If no-one else is currently doing it then I'll do one for Billy the Bookie in a couple of minutes

Have you done your TFF yet? wink

I think so... well, I did it earlier today so it should have registered it as being done. I used the same username as here so it should be recognizable as me

Oooops. I just meant to quote Steven, sorry! blankstare But glad you've also joined FD. There's still time for you to join our mini league, if you want? The password for it is 8d10b6be5fd22fd9db5a77d64f0f0433

RE: WIMBLEDON PICK 'EM and Battle of the Boards

We've got some proper results for you at last! You can see the whole individual table after Monday's 12 completed matches at:

www.britishtennis.net/07pickem/2007wm.htm

That page also has a link to the table for the inter-forum teams contest and links to various other information about the competition. The results will be updated on those pages at least once a day, usually sometime after play ends for the day.

We will also be posting intra-day updates on the board with the most entrants (and the least restrictive post size limits! wink), so if you want follow the competition more closely, just take a look at the most recent updates on the thread you get to if you go to www.andymurray.com/community/discussion/2036/wimbledon-pick-em-team-comp-entry-via-simple-web-form - no doubt some of the info will find its way back here too.

There is a mini update on the AM thread now.

The top BT.net player at the moment is..Seagull in joint 6th place (one point off the lead).

Steven who normally plays for us (traitor!) is in joint first still.

The detailed team and individual results can now be found on the website. Freewebs has decided it doesn't want to play so only half the flags have been uploaded at the moment, apologies if it means you temporarily come from whiteboxland.

Team results can be found here: http://www.britishtennis.net/07pickem/2007wmtm.htm

click the link to move to the individual ones!

Wow - look at Billie the Bookie go! We would have colectively lost a fortune today, if we'd backed our picks with money down the bookmakers.

Interesting that Racey is outplaying Womble: Form seems to matter more than Grass court pedigree.

88th Grr. And Karlovic and Kohlschreiber both out Double Grr.

At least I'm beating Womble, Roberta and Racey.
