Something like that anyway!

There. All done!

Whow, you're a star

Nalbandian, Berdych still in, 2 more opponents on 35 pts

Mackin didn't make it however.

Due to heat, lots of play still outstanding.

Djokovick is TRASHING Massu: 6-1 6-1 4-0 at the mo... what an opener. Lets hope Andy can emulate his friend...

I was wrong: Andy is not just emulating, he's bettering: 6-0 6-0 so far. And it looks like triple bagel to be honest.

So Andy gets a good night's sleep  while his competitiors will be playing into the small hours

Nieminen is 1 set all against Goldstein. Hewitt has just lost the first against Russell Tursunov has only just started to play Waskeat 10:11 pm! Gonzalez is with serve in the first against Korolev. Soderling  and Haas are still waiting for the Womens' matches before theirs to finish

You updated the running points total, but not the points gained from 5p to 35p, which totally confused me when comparing him to Djoko... until I noticed.

Sorry Nads, the excitement got to me!

Looking good for Andy's ranking:

Russell breaks Hewitt again!!! 6-3 4*-1

Gonzalez lost his first set to Korolev

Waske's a break up against Tursunov: *6-5

Goldstein's taken Nieminen to a tiebreak in the third.

No problem, thank you for keeping the table in the first place.

Hewitt is loosing in R1 of the Aussie Open it seems. Reminds me of 05 when Gilles Muller beat Roddick in R1 of the US Open. It's always a nice feeling, especially when a countryman of mine has caused it.

B***er, Hewitt broke back: Russell 6-3 4-2* Hewitt, still
Korolev 7-6 2*-2 Gonzo
Waske 7-5 0-0* Tursunov
Goldstein 7-5 2-6 6-7 0-0* Nieminen

It's Andy's Day it seems...

And it gets better:

Russell 6-3 6-2 0-0* Hewitt
Korolev 7-6 4*-4 Gonzo
Waske 7-5 1*-2 Tursunov
Goldstein 7-5 2-6 6-7 3*-0 Nieminen but soon by the looks of it.

Russell breaks again!!  - he put in four absolutely massive groundstrokes in a row on break point there!

Russell 6-3 6-2 *2-1 Hewitt
Korolev 7-6 6-5* Gonzo
Waske 7-5 3*-4 Tursunov
Goldstein 7-5 2-6 6-7 3*-2 Nieminen

Well that was the highpoint.  Now, unfortunetely, all these guys seem to have remembered why they're the seeds

Hewitt breaks back: and breaks again
Russell 6-3 6-2 3-5* Hewitt

Gonzo gets the second tiebreak
Korolev 7-6 6-7 0*-1 Gonzo

Dimo wins the second and is a break up
Waske 7-5 4-6 1-3* Tursunov

And Goldsteins serving to stay in the match against Nieminen
Goldstein 7-5 2-6 6-7 4*-5 Nieminen

Meanwhile Soderling obviously wants an early night as well:

Mayer 3-6 2-3* Soderling

Haas/Montanes is with serve in the first.

I know this is bad for Andys ranking...but certainly helping my Predictions

Hewitt takes the third set. Now then Michael - bounce straight back!

Jarkko beats Goldstein 5-7 6-2 7-6 6-4

It's 20 to midnight in Melbourne, and all Andy's competitors are still up and about. Judy's already tucked Andy and Jamie into bed with their Horlicks!

Russell 6-3 6-2 3-6 0*-0 Hewitt
Korolev 7-6 6-7 1*-4 Gonzo
Waske 7-5 4-6 2-5* Tursunov
Mayer 3-6 5-4* Soderling
Montanes 5*-6 Haas
