USO pick em predictions competition

I was thinking we could do our own version of the cincinnati Pick em contest but with the U.S. Open. I dont remb the exact point system i know someone posted it already. We can twick that a little bit to fit the US Open draw.

** We can even have a prize for the winner if someone has somethig they are willing to give away that is actually worth something meaning more or around 5 quid that has something to do with tennis. If know one has anything then we can just give away some AM's. Id was 200 to winner. 100 for second place. 50 for 3rd place( This could change based on number of people participating). Anyone down for this.....**

i guess ill run it or part of it someone else can help. People can just send me/who ever is helping a privite messege with there filled out draw...ill let you know the format id like it sent in...if we are even doing this

what do you guys think!!!

RE: New Game idea- USO pick em

You can't start giving away AMs like that, they have to be earned at the betting shop !!!

I think it sounds like a great idea Rob, count me in.

If anyone has a copy of the Murray-Federer match which they're willing to copy onto another disc, how about that for a 1st prize. If not, the prizes of 200, 100 and 50 AM sound good and could be added onto the totals amassed so far in the betting shop game.

The draw will be announced on Friday and so between Friday and Monday, those participating need to make their predictions for the entire matches in the draw and email them to Rob.

Here's the points system:

* 1 (one) point for each correct prediction in the first round
* 2 (two) points for each correct prediction in the second round
* 4 (four) points for each correct prediction in the third round
* 8 (eight) points for each correct prediction in the quarterfinal round
* 16 (sixteen) points for each correct prediction in the semi-final round
* 32 (thirty-two) points for each correct prediction in the final round
* 0 (zero) points for each incorrect pick or segment left blank.

I'll play, I'm not too good at the betting so need to earn a few AMs somehow (although, having said that I do appear to be third at the moment, I'm not really sure how!)

I agree - don't want these hard earned AMs being dished out like confetti
