I thought Hannah started rather nervously, the first half of the first set was terribly close, Hep had the better of it really.

But Hannah held on tenaciously and then Hep got a little flustered and faded at the end of the first set
And in the second set, Hannah was imperious, it was a walk in the park

Mimi wins 6-3 6-1 which means our final is mimi v Hannah which is what I was expecting

It will be a really interesting final as Hannah has never beaten Mimi as far as I can see.

See Mimi and Mika are 41 up in first set in the doubles final. Does anyone know what they get if they win re WCs? Mika and Mimi seem to be pairing up more often now. Interesting.

They get entry into Junior Wimbly doubles main draw

(not really a big deal for them but last year it was Ellie Blackford and Given Roach, I seem to remember, and Ellie - bless her - burst into tears when she was told )

Big fan of Flora and, of course, Allegra here, so wishing them on for the doubles here. Second set going well for Flora and Allegra.

Such a shame for Allegra and Flora

Three MPs ?

That was really Mimi who saved the day for the favourites

She has remarkable lucidity for a youngster

Absolutely read the game and what was going to happen, and shut off the net - did nothing spectacular but exactly what was needed

Agree, Mimi kept her head cool in an exciting finish to the match.

Just been watching the matches back.

Mika started like a bullet and was over powering Mimi but then Mimi seemed to grind it out and Mika started missing. Very impressive turn around from the first few games from Mimi.

Interesting final to come.

Could be wrong but I think Mimi has gained confidence from her wins in the W15s in Tunisia last month, and picking up the doubles title. I can see her picking up her first BJK call up in doubles, before singles.
