So all the seeds / big names safely through to the QF in straight sets. Going to get rather interesting.

Ultimately I'll take Hannah to beat Mika in the final.

Is this the most exciting under 18 juniors for years?

So much talent there.

Hannah, Mimi and Mika have all stretched away comfortably in the second set, looks like all 3 will be done pretty soon.

Isabelle Lacy and Hep is looking closer

She, like all the juniors, have to play the nationals.  The points on offer are well below her 6th best and the incentives are largely covered by her levels at juniors and seniors for her age.  She already has 3 x W35 wild cards from the junior year end ranking to take, and one more W50.  So the W35 incentive is probably not needed.  So she is playing for a W100 main/Quali at Ilkley and a Wimbledon quali place, both of which she would probably get anyway.

So I imagine she is trying out things this week.  The interesting final would be vs Mimi who she has not beaten in competition - something like 7 matches going back to U8s.  Also interesting to see how she performs in the Grade A tournament at Offenbach on clay later this month which she is 2nd seed.

Thats interesting. Mimi wins again. It is such a challenge trying to navigate this switch from juniors to seniors, but it does make for watching this process so interesting. Trying to pick out who will make the break and when. I have to say I find these imbetweenies in the boy and girls really great to follow, and moving into the grassseason - more engaging than watching the seniors TBH. Hoping to see a few young hopefuls offered qualie WCs into some of the bigger events in UK.

Does this event carry Junior World Ranking points?
