PWell done girls.
When do we find out who they play next?
Maybe Emma will be back before the next tie.

I wouldnt count on Emma until we know more about her recovery. Some social media posts suggest the wrist is proving more problematic than first thought and return may be put back. I think its the current team for a bit longer yet TBH.

Harriet is off to Japan at 6am tomorrow, so not much time to relax.

She's entered for the two W100's followed by a W40. I'd be surprised f she plays the third one, but you never know !

Nice victory. Not always easy when you are the favorites.

Ues and of course, Belinda Bencic her opponent in the show match is pregnant with her first child (Congratulations to Belinda and her partner) so looks like there may be a few changes.

As she's not due to land until 7.30am on Tuesday, she better hope she draws a qualifier as that's the only way she's guaranteed not to play Tuesday. (Qualifiers are required to have a rest day before the main draw as they play both rounds of qualifying tomorrow.)

She is apparently playing long sessions on court and it sounds from what she said that she is hoping to get back before the end of the year.

Well we got there and more people have realised how **** a captain Anne K is ( though I agreed all her actual selections here ) so could have been worse.

Here's to more healthy bodies and minds in 2024 ( and someone please be prepared to have a few words with Anne K about her body language for starters ).

Not a  team GB issue but Canada beat Italy  2-0 to win the BJK Cup for the 1st time. Marina Stakusic (who had not  played a WTA main draw in 2023) and Leylah Fernandez won their matches for Canada. I notice that Eugenie Bouchard was part of the Canadian squad.
