Men move onto 62 wins in total with 6 players left in this Wimbledon.
If we look through the acceptance lists for the ITF events and the matches left here at Wimbledon and Newport RI list also, this looks like it could evolve into a very tight battle , possibly between the top 4 in the list above.
Andy is on 11 and could maybe look to top out at 12 or 13?
Dan is currently looking like two QF, or a QF and SF, places based on acceptance lists for the ITF events, so maybe 10/11 wins total - will need to outshine his ranking on that basis
Billy is looking at maybe a SF and W based on rankings but that will be tough - but it would take him to 13 wins.
And Charlie is looking at maybe a QF and SF also, so around 10 wins tops.
Could be anyones, but hard to look below those 4 really - hard to see Cam amass enough or Liam unless he goes on a big run in Newport RI, from qualies!

end of Thursday 6th July - I was waiting to see if Andy completed his match, but he wont; Liam won and Jan lost, leaving Liam, Cam and Andy in action in singles now. ITF guys to get going again next week, weekend in fact!

So then men finish Wimbledon as above - but , we still have 3 events to come! Itf events in nottingham and Roehampton , and the atp Newport event where Liam is entered.
andy leads but Billy, Dan and Charlie could take this , Id say.
End of day Sunday 9th July - ITF qualies start and a bunch of first wins for some 13 players - could one of these go for glory and burst through over the next two weeks. Mens tally now reaches 76 wins

All Nottingham ITF matches appear to be on hardcourts today - however, this is a grass event and as per my opening post, results WILL count in my tally of grass court wins.

All play tomorrow is scheduled for hardcourts and will take us to the last 8 without any grass play. Im not sure if theyll use grass at all but, regardless, ill continue to count the wins as a) officially it is a grass event and b) there have been matches at other locations this summer eg ilkley that moved off grass and those have been counted.
May end with a small asterisk on the winner, I guess.
Well, hard court again today, but we move back to grass tomorrow, hurrah! End of day, Wed 12th July, and Cox, Harris and Broom all move into the last 8
The upshot of this is that just 6 players can now win this Race, all with a star against them below:
Andy - 4 people voted for Andy Dan Cox - 3 people voted for Dan Billy Harris - no votes Charlie Broom - no votes Patrick Brady - no votes - he needs to win this week and win next week in Roehampton to share the race with Andy (unless he is in Roehampton qualies in which case he can win outright as it stands) Toby Samuel - no votes - he needs to win this week and win next week in Roehampton to share the race with Andy
Suspect in reality this is a 4 horse race but Patrick and Toby are still in play
Note - 98 mens wins now as this week is almost entirely British dominated

I wonder - did any of the Andy or Dan Cox voters also vote Katie B - would it be possible to unveil yourselves and let us know if that is the case and/or if you voted for Andy or Dan Cox?
