By the way, the person who voted AN Other hasnt said who the AN Other was - if they could name themselves and their intended player who they think will get the most wins, that would be marvellous - thank you

JonH, didn't you vote A.N.Other (and nominate Hannah Klugman) way back on page-1 ?  Mental maths : 1 / 34 is about 3%

So good to get this occurring early. Katie Swan won by retirement today and, as per normal record keeping, it will count in her wins tally when I update it next.

I understand from comments elsewhere that Isabelle Lacy has a walkover - whilst welcome and gets her into the last 8, it DOESNT count in her win record as a win and wont count in the list of grass court wins. Sorry for anyone supporting her, thats the way it works and , I believe, has always worked consistently in win / loss records

Looks like we wont have any singles players in NL next week. So all eyes will be on Nottingham as the race enters week 2.

Fran, of course, is sadly now out. Luckily , only one person voted for her and most contenders are still in.

Perhaps the voting could have been delayed to be coincident with Surbiton, and the vote closed last night (Fri), prior to Nottingham qualies? Just an idea, to focus the voters.

Maybe- but we had plenty of voters so I was happy with that. Another 12 months to consider if we change it or do it again. Mainly just a bit of fun to keep us entertained and also allow us to track how the Brits do over the grass season!
