Big opportunities for Harriet, Sonay and Emily A to put pressure on Katie B at the top over the next day or two.

And no change here as Sunday play closes - what it does do is give Katie B and Harriet an effective game in hand now, thinking football parlance , to get a win or two further ahead of the pack. Sonay as well, but perhaps less likely to take advantage ?

Ok, add Jodie back into that gray. Haha

end of play Monday 26th June - Harriet wins and joins Katie B in the lead, and Jodie mounts a challenge after her "lucky" loser spot in the Eastbourne draw.

Starting to feel like this could end up being down to Harriet V Katie B unless Jodie goes further this week or Emily Appleton or Eden, or Isabelle maybe get through to the main Wimbledon draw after this week.

73 wins now for the women - 78 last year, so getting close to overhauling that benchmark

end of play Tuesday 27th June - todays winners dont impact the top really, but a loss did. Katie B losing opens the door for Harriet to take spot on her own tomorrow, and Jodie B to pull right back into it. It could be very close and completely open going into Wimbledon next week.

end of day 28th June - looks like any of the top 5 who are all in Wimbledon MD can take this now; Anna B gets a great win today but is probably too far behind to take this little title, nonetheless those 5 (and maybe Katie Swan?) could make it an interesting chase next week or so...

The womens is also over for the week, and it means (unlike the men) we just have one event left, Wimbledon

As such, the only players who can win this now are those playing the main draw of Wimbledon as listed below:
TOTAL Player
8 H. Dart (needs to win one round at least to come top)
8 K. Boulter (needs to win one round at least to come top)
6 H. Watson (must at least reach last 16 to overcome leaders)
6 J. Burrage (must at least reach last 16 to overcome leaders)
6 S. Kartal (must at least reach last 16 to overcome leaders)
(5 E.Appleton - not in Wimbledon draw)
5 K. Swan - (must at least reach last 8 to overcome leaders

All due respect, it is hard to see Katie S reaching the quarters, Sonay reaching the last 16. Heather or Jodie might have a chance but it feels an outside chance (prior to the draw of course)

It feels like this will be a straight case of whoever gains the most wins out of Katie B and Harriet.

If there is a draw in terms of wins, the prize will be shared , no count back option.

A couple of late votes seem to have somehow snuck into the poll, but it looks like out of 36 cast, just over half (19) are for Katie B and Harriet. Which is impressive. It would be great if anyone who voted for those two could let themselves be known, please post below!

I make it only 14 voted for Katie B or Harriet - and only 4 said they had.
