Meanwhile, young Hannah K has won the first set 6-2 against Hep

And Ella seems to be having a far easier time of it today, taking the first set 6-0 against Imogen

Odds on Hannah K doing the double double on the back of under 16s last week?

Hannah wins 6-2 6-1

Played very well. And played intelligently as far as the wind went too.

The wind looks and sounds horrendous to play with.

And Isabelle wins too, 6-4 6-3

The wind is not great but it's the same for both - and it's not particularly cold.
Rather like the huge winds you get all the time at seaside tennis events at Montpellier or wherever.

And now a little squall has blown in - real spring weather.

Two of the matches had just finished though. And new ones not started.

So only two matches to be moved.

Mimis doubles match seems to have stopped on 2-1 yesterday so maybe it happened during the doubles?

Just checked again, and the draw sheet has Mimi and Hannah winning 6-1 6-3..... ?

I had thought this the other day once I saw she was partnered with Mimi. However seeing Mimi gave a walkover in the singles I assume he same will happen in the double.

Oh no! I hope Mimi is ok. So disappointing for her, I'm sure. Was really looking forward to seeing her in the Final (she was my fav to win). Now it looks like a Hannah double, for me.
