Gordon Reid won 0 and 2 against his unfancied opponent and now plays Alfie in the last 8. Ben B lost 0 and 1 against de la Puente, Ben is still learning the game and these top players, just good to be here I would say.
Singles (mens and womens) last 8 tomorrow and presumably doubles also

Seems it is just the womens last 8 today, men must be tomorrow, and mens doubles is only non Brits. So Lucy and Cornelia both play today. Being honest, hard to see either winning as their opponents are much higher ranked.
Alfie into the final where he plays Martin de la Puente of Spain. Alfie and Gordon reach the mens doubles final where they play aforementioned Spaniard and his partner Fernandez.
Alfie on fire.
In womens action, Lucy and Cornelia lost the doubles final- Id say well done but they got a walkover in a 3 pair field
Alfie and Gordon won the final! I managed to watch some of it then the stream disappeared. Very entertaining. Congratulations to them!
The other pair are current worlds top team, to win in two tough sets is really good. Alfie currently the worlds top player, no doubts, and the pair are getting back to number one as well.
alfie plays his singles final tomorrow - they call this the fifth slam, albeit it isnt at super series level, and it would be a good one to win.
I dont want to hex him, but winning the grand slam this year must be a target ?
No British winners in ITF3 event in Bolton last week. Another ITF2 event $22k prizemoney takes place in Bolton this week - bigger names including Gordon Reid and Ben Bartram in mens, Lucy Shuker in womens, and Andy Lapthorne in quads
Alfie giving this event a miss, I dont think he usually plays ITF2 level events, tbh.
Gordon Reid and Gordon/Ben Bartram in mens events
Lucy Shuker and Lucy/Cornelia Oosthuizen in womens events
Andy Lapthorne and Greg Slade and Andy/Greg in quads events. Good luck to all over the weekend.
Based on seedings Lucy and Lucy/Cornelia are title favourites. 2 or more titles across the 6 events would be a result.
